Occupational Therapy assists children with their “occupations” or “jobs” at home, school, and in their communities. More specifically, occupational therapy contributes to a child’s ability to perform important functional activities:
-Fine motor and hand skills.
-Handwriting.
-Self-help skills.
-Sensory-motor integration skills.
-Visual-motor and visual-perceptual skills.
-Accessing educational and recreational activities through assistive technology
